Samaritans, meaningful advice.
While I was doing my duty at the Samaritans, a call came in from a man who was desperately unhappy and sounded really upset. I struggled to get him to calm down enough to be understood. It was about half an hour before I learned he was about to pour a gallon of petrol over himself, light a match and set himself on fire.
I mused for a moment and replied “Achmed it’s times like this you need your family around you.”
